2 more days

2 more days before we head out of here for SF.
As much as I'm looking forward to being in SF, I am not looking forward to the flight.

Yesterday, I brought Shonn with me to go meet this white guy. I met this guy when Shasta was in quarantine. He had a couple of his dogs in quarantine too but coincidentally, he was from Oakland. I have met up with him a couple of times since our respective dogs had left quarantine.
Anyways, I think Shonn has had enough of listening to the Singaporean accent and it would be nice to meet up with an American... after all, he missed Americans so much, he called out some black chick in Ikea because he heard her American accent.

We met at this Brewery right off the Singapore river. For those of you who have been to the Riverwalk in San Antonio, it is almost identical. Like SA, the river is not the cleanest river you will see. Unlike SA, Singapore does not drain and clean out the river once a year. Like SA (mainly toward the summer), it is hot and muggy and you are drinking warm beer after the first 5 mins. We hung out there for about 3 hours, sipping on our warm beer and letting my American friends bitch and moan about the difference between the US and Singapore. I had to join of course and we had a ball of a time. And believe me, there are a lot of differences, some not as subtle as others.

One last thing before I end off. For those of you who have money and aspirations to start and run your own business. There is something very lacking here in Singapore and there is definitely a demand for it.... a Mexican restaurant. I am now supposed to eat a burrito for myself, one for the white guy, Mark and one for Shonn. It is my pleasure to do that. But, remember, this is a wide open business opportunity. And I'm not talking Taco Bell here.
