get rid of all them call centers!!

This morning I made a phone call to United to book my flight from SF to Singapore. Here is how the conversation went:

Phone Rep: Good Morning, how may I help you?
Me: I would like to enquire about REDEEMING MY MILES for a ONE WAY flight from San Francisco to Singapore.
Phone Rep: Sure... where are you going?
(Mistake ONE: I already told you... San Francisco to SINGAPORE!!!!)
Me: Singapore
Phone Rep: What is your departure date?
Me: Sept 10.
Phone Rep: What is your return date?
Me: I don't have one... this is a ONE WAY flight.
(Mistake TWO)
Phone Rep: Yes, right. How will you be paying for this?
(HOLY SHIT... didn't I f**king say it all in my first sentence???)
Me: Miles
Phone Rep: Oh yes

Please move the call centers back here!!! This experiment has gone on long enough... it is NOT working. Yes, you pay these people 1/10 of what you would pay them domestically, but they take 4 times as long as you are getting your customers annoyed... is it worth it????
